That's definitely a good point. There are around 700k people in law enforcement in US and these companies will bend over backwards to give them what they want if they merely ask for it. There is no way this is not already being abused by law enforcement.
I'm more concerned about the much larger volume of "legitimate" warrantless requests than the tiny volume of "illegitimate" ones.
