I think it's a good thing that the last SW I had watched was Episode III; this was my first teaser of the Disney era, and what can I say: I will not watch this one, just as I did not watched the others.
(For me, the Star Wars franchise is Star Wars from 1977, and I don't care about the other films or television series.)
My main problem with Star Wars isn't the movies but with the expanded universe both before and after Disney. When you have so many apparently important characters that aren't shown or even mentioned in the movies and fanboys are telling me how it makes more sense for some alien chick to fight Vader rather than Luke. Plus when they do mentioned out of movie stuff like Darth Maul being still alive in Rogue One I wonder what does it matter if the movies don't mention him again
