Resident communist's opinions aside, I think both sides of the global power structure that came out of the Cold War are victim to their own us-vs-them narrative frameworks. It is natural that Russia's allies or former allies - the axis against the West and American hegemony - would support Russia. It's not really about bad guys, communism, international socialism, or neo-marxism. (even if they think it is, as we might think supporting Ukraine is about freedom and Democracy) It is American Globalism vs anti-American Globalism. That's not to say those dictators wouldn't create their own pro-Russian hegemony if they had the power, so don't think I'm taking their side. More interesting is who various non-government groups and individuals have decided to align with.
Does ANTIFA support Ukraine?
Not a terrible article, even though it presents only one side of some commonly disputed facts.
