I can't understand why everyone is shitting their pants about Ukraine when it doesn't affect us, and it barely affects Europe writ large. But, consider for a moment that the goal is invasion of Iran. Now, we know that ISIS was funded and trained by the United States government (CIA/State Dept.), for the express purpose of destabilizing the region and providing pretext for us to invade. However they have not been particularly successful.
So, it's possible that the Azov Battalion and other thugs in Ukraine who were also trained and funded a decade ago under the same program started during the Obama administration and carried out again by the CIA/State Dept. are meant to be the JV-ISIS, 2nd-stringers for if ISIS failed their mission of overthrowing Syria.
What I'm thinking is all this saber rattling in Ukraine is going to be used to goad Russia into an outright confrontation with America/some other NATO ally (Israeli planes painted French/German colors). This is not for the benefit of Ukraine and what might surprise people is that once we are at war with Russia, we will not be fighting in Ukraine nor any territory of Russia, but rather within Syria.
What will eventually be known as WW3 will be conducted inside of Syria at first, as we engage Russian troops inside Syria, but will ultimately spiral out into Iran as we engage the Syrian army and the Iranian army who will be caught in the crossfire. We will be formally at war with Syria and Iran as they are Russia's chief allies in the Middle-East.
I have seen no one else float this theory but it dovetails with the Clean Break Memo and the Odin Yinon Plan, both of which are better predictors of events in the Middle East than anything you will see on the news or read online.
No one cares about Syria either.
The issue with Ukraine is that it is a strategically vital territory for the Russians, which is why they care about it so much - and why the West wants to deny it to Russia. That's it.
It's not about "sovereignty" as preached by the people who made Libya into a slave market and wrecked numerous countries around the world.
It's not about "people dying", as American interventions have killed vastly more people.
It's about "we get to do this and you don't", with some residual Cold War BS and Russiagate hysteria.
Even pointing this out leads people to claim that I support "genocide". Some people are absolutely crazy about this - their brains having been completely consumed by the media.
Yeah, genocide is funny because the USSR provably killed an order of magnitude greater of their own people than Germany killed Germans did but if you went to school in America you won't learn about Soviet atrocities unless you look that shit up yourself.
Not exactly. Every Russian would be dismayed by Ukrainian membership in NATO or American bases aimed at the heartland of the country.
Putin took the mess that he inherited and stabilized the situation to the point where Russians now have decent lives. You denying it does not make it any less true.
Close to 100% of Russians care about the security of their country, having been invaded two times in the 20th century.
You're a nutter. Are you an American Cold Warrior or a Ukrainian?
