In his defense, Hasek was born in 1965 behind the Iron Curtain. He was one of the lucky people who managed to scrape and claw his way out of that shitheap that was comunism into being a multimillionare in America. He holds no love and no forgiveness to what Russia did to his family, his people, his country.

It's also a complete raving rant, but this makes more sense coming from the Czechoslovakian Hasek than, say, Canadian born Patrick Roy.
