I've seen this first hand. There were a couple girls at my field training that couldn't even carry a 30 lbs bag. The guys had to carry the bags in addition to their own. And one of the girls was so weak she couldn't rack the slide on the M9.
My last tour in my 20 year Navy career had a 4'10" 95lb girl that worked in supply. She was willing, but couldn't carry anything over 25 lbs or so, or that was bulky.
If she had to evacuate an average sailor out of a flooding space up a ladder, through a scuttle, there is just no way she has the strength to do it. Same deal with pushing a fire hose down that same scuttle into a burning space, she just can't do it.
She was a liability in nearly every job there was to do when it came to fighting the ship in combat, but, women uber alles and all that. I don't blame her, at least she raised her right hand and put on the uniform, but she just should not have been there.
If the Navy ever gets into a serious fight, we're gonna lose a lot of ships, and the crews with them.

And if you said as much publicly your best case scenario would be demotion and to be put on the shitlist for a long time
Better men die than a woman temporarily feel bad that she can't larp as a sailor.
