A cult game from a leader of gamergate is going to get a moving picture adaptation (hopefully not shit as usual)

For those who think the headline was written by a malfunctioning AI or someone having a stroke, I will explain the joke.
There are standard patterns for headlines relating to actors and creators, such as the following:
Firstame Lastname's Name of Show/Movie/Game he Created Makes News
Show/Movie/Game Name's (Name of Actor/Writer who was in Show) Does Newsy Thing
Firstname "Role He is Famous for Playing" Lastname Walks and Chews Gum
The true and correct name of the property Alice McGee made is "American McGee's Alice," and due to rigorous journalistic standards (hah!) the full name is always used when referring to the game.
When the game came out, there were headlines like "American McGee's American McGee's Alice Wins Random Award"
Putting "American McGee's American McGee's Alice" in the headline became a running joke.
David Hayter wrote X-men and X-men 2, and is known for playing the voice of Solid Snake in the Metal Gear games, and is slated to write the Alice TV show, so when you cram all that into the headline as well, you get "David "Solid Snake" Hayter's American McGee's Alice" and oh, how we are laughing.
Oh, and of course the show is going to suck. What year do you think this is?
