I've never understood why anyone tries to find random games on steam. That's not how this shit has ever worked. You follow a few YouTube channels that aggregate for you, and then you buy stuff that looks good. Watch splattercatgaming. Watch skillup. They regularly feature indie games.
That's not at all true. Early on Steam was actually fantastic for doing just that while they were still competing with other gaming outlets. It was around the time that Steam started allowing actual pornography (without even giving them their own dedicated tag/section so people can filter them out) that it really went to shit.
