Lol, the AAA gaming industry is dying for the same reason everything mainstream is dying (TV, news, movies and more.) It's because the internet exists and they are no longer the monopoly on creating entertainment.

The indie game scene is doing fantastically well and is a much truer expression of real capitalism and entrepreneurship than the corporate dinosaurs of AAA.
