But the game absolutely doesn't push the idea that capitalism is bad. So much so that lesser merchants in Stellar bay are depicted as oppressed by the corporations.
Monarch is also a place where you can literally play it anyway you like.
I feel you never actually went beyond Terra-2. And completely misunderstood what Terra-2's story is, as nothing in Edgewater is capitalistic to begin with. It's all company owned and the entire population is just wage slaves who get rationned corporate packages as their only wages. There's no economy at all.
If you think the game is Woke and refuse to play it for that reason, you're robbing yourself a truly a good game. Just because an engineer is a lesbian ? A lesbian you can literally kill or ruin a relationship for if you truly just hate LGBT people FFS.
And really, you're on this site, pretending it's "Woke" to be against corporations ? Need I remind you of Big Tech and their censorships for the wokies ?
Like I said, I get the vibe you didn't even play the game at all.
You seem to absolutely need for me to not have played it, when I most certainly did. I don't know what to tell you, my guy.
And considering you somehow extracted "only the woke are against corporatism" from "they likely do not see a difference between capitalism and corporations when they create these things" it stands to question that you have no legs to stand on when saying someone else read something wrong.
Double so because you somehow took "this character's entire personal quest is a long, boring slog to a point where it removes much of their actual characterization beyond lesbian" to "I hate gays." Like, I'm beginning to question your own ability to comprehend.

I don't need you to not have played it, I merely observe you know nothing about it, except something you most likely read on a outrage bait site.
And considering you somehow extracted "only the woke are against corporatism"
That's massive reading comprehension failure on your part. I literally said the opposite.
you somehow took "this character's entire personal quest is a long, boring slog to a point where it removes much of their actual characterization beyond lesbian"
All the personal quests are the same length or thereabouts. That was just a bullshit statement to begin with. Added to the pile of "you just read about this game, you never actually played it".
Exactly my point. All you can do is beg for me to not have played it, because its the only way you can make your opinion superior and discount mine. Well that and some weak "no u", but that's okay I forgive you.
But you got me, the personal quests probably are about the same length. One just felt far longer because its was a meaningless series of fetch quests for a retarded lesbian, compared to the others which had either solid emotional moments (Max) or decent action setpieces (black chick and mexi-bro whose names escape me because I didn't use them outside these missions).
Almost like they were engaging and enjoyable, like much of the game itself. Because in case you missed it I rather liked the game, as I said initially. I just found one specific character horribly written, and the theme cartoonishly implemented. But apparently that's too much for you and you need to throw a fit about it.

Your lack of knowledge about the game and its themes and stories and its quests exposes you.
You read a piece on it, now pretend to have played it to win a debate about a spammer spam a crap site.
