It's the same with all the things they mentioned.
Sports? You can play sports with your community. You can be part of the local old boys football team, for example. My neighbour does that. That's still more sport than watching some serial wife beater dindu pretend he is a slave while he has gold teeth and Lambos, kneeling because a dealer got popped.
Food? You can cook if you have a proper kitchen. Hell, you can buy local ingredients, forage, have your own garden. Fish or hunt. In a lot of small communities like mine people still give each other gifts back and forth regularly. My mother's friend recently showed up with 20 eggs. Next time I'm making scones or brownies or whatever, she will get some because I know she loves cake.
In spring we have wild garlic in the mountain near us. You can bet your ass we are making biscuits with those in them.
A bunch of other stuff is happening as well. Maybe our local yoga class is not fancy hot yoga taught by some bitch who likes posting about her chakras being alighned on Instagram.
But the women who go there stay after class to trade jam recipes and lend each other mystery books.
Our farmers' market only comes like once every two weeks, but we have one with actual local people and it's nice. It's not based on hipset veganoids virtue signalling.
