Once again, there's a nonpolitical gaming .win if you want to talk about vidya without politics. KiA was never about videogames per se, it started out being about ethics in games journalism, and then expanded to ethics in all journalism and beyond.
Bruh. Were you there at the start? It was literally all about videogames and what sprouted out of them. Without games it would have never happened.
okay and posts about political issues are not synonymous with journolism, just because something is in a newspaper doesnt make it gg material.
If you think that content is gg, then I might start posting E! online content here, because youd call that GG as well.
I was there at the start, yes. I've been watching GG since the Zoepost first came out. I remember the 4chan bans and I remember when most discussion was happening in the comment section of KYM's article on the matter.
Once again, it was not about videogames, it was about videogame journalism - hence the name, Kotaku isn't a game - and related matters. As I already said, the whole thing expanded over time as people noticed that the same problems we originally noticed in the likes of Kotaku are present in other areas, including political journalism. The sub ended up about wokeism in general.
And once again, if you just want to talk about videogames, that's perfectly fine. There's a nonpolitical gaming .win. Go there. It seems to be decently active. There's nothing for you to gain by seething and coping in KiA2's comments because you don't like the content.
