It's because you can't write and read Polish names properly. You just almost never write -ski, -cki, -dzki, -owski, -wicz, -osz, -arz, -erz, or anything else. So you have "Sikorsky" and not Sikorski, and make fun of Susan Wojcicki for sticking to her father's "unpronounceable" surname.
