They were energetic. They had no problem letting my low-functioning autistic son play with their children, which is unfortunately rare among a lot of the other mothers I’ve encountered. But this made me even more uneasy. I realized these women were dangerous precisely because they were so friendly.
Classic: they're actually just better, morally, than her crowd and that's what makes them dangerous.
I also wonder if these women were actually using "equality" as a trigger word, or if it was "equity" and the author misreported it. She mentions diversity, equality, and inclusion, which is usually equity. A small bit of obfuscation (equity and equality are almost the exact opposite idea, in this context) but that's the whole point of the left's corruption of language.
