As others said he allegedly survived but is in critical condition right now. It looks like he got shot in the side of the jaw, so like getting punched in the jaw but 1000x more gruesomely, he probably just got instantly KTFO. That said, even if he miraculously avoided direct brain injury, he's still probably very fucked up, unless he just naturally had a case of the bug-eyes beforehand those bulging eyes don't bode well.
