No the entire point of the left-right divide is a deep (and likely irreconcilable) difference in opinion on fundamental social, cultural, and political beliefs between two sets of people who are living in a single "winner take all" political system.

If the differences weren't so fundamental they wouldn't be so easily exploitable.
