It was liberal cities that were burning, and they supported BLM/Antifa. So send in the national guard, where they aren't wanted, and what? Why do you think BLM/Antifa were protesting in the first place? It's not organic. They were paid to riot and destroy things exactly so Trump would go in with a military presence and provide the images for the media. You are trying to make the situation look simple when it is not. Trump offered support and the states rejected it. He's the President of the US, but he does not run every state.

He avoided nothing. He fell straight into it. He fell into letting himself look weak and BLM/Antifa look strong, and as Bin Laden correctly said; when people see a weak horse and a strong horse, they will naturally favor the strong horse.

Again, the only reason BLM/Antifa were there rioting was to entice Trump to crack down on them. Notice they aren't rioting now? What changed? Oh yeah, they don't want Biden to look bad. BLM only comes out every few years during election time, or sooner if you have a Trump that needs ousting.
