No, as a child I thought he was an insult to the show. Hell, I thought it went downhill after Scooby-Doo Where Are You? ended and they started adding "celebrities" and made the ghosts real, but damn, Scrappy stunk wrose than Scooby-Dum and Dee combined.

I mean, keep the fake ghosts to Scooby-Doo; real ghosts are what Goober and the Ghost-Chasers was for.
