Yellen is essentially using covid to misdirect the real reasons for inflation on of which is that more money has been printed in the last 15 years than the last 50 years. There's been wage growth in the past 5 years. Supply chains have tightened increasing prices. And while production has slowed due to onerous covid restrictions the claims that covid is the cause belies the fact that the largest ports in the country which also happen to be in blue states are sabotaging the offload of transport ships lining up off our coasts.
