Yeah this has been known for a while. Many of these fact checkers work for sites funded by the CCP: https://www.theepochtimes.com/facebook-fact-checker-funded-by-chinese-money-through-tiktok_3610009.html

Now take into consideration all the disinformation put out by these fact-checkers with Chinese-backed money, and a lot of the agenda-pushing starts to make sense.
