Rolfe is something of youtube aristocracy, having been on youtube since about 2006, so seeing him mirror content off of youtube is, in my opinion, a promising sign that we're breaking through the noise, even if he did it for purely pragmatic reasons. Rolfe is a fairly apolitical guy, so don't expect a lot of "Row Row, Fight the Powah" from him, but it proves that even bigger independent names( 3.55M subs and 1,978,090,622 views on youtube) are feeling the stifling of bigtech censorship and shopping around for alternatives.
Do what you want, but it might be a good idea if fans of his content show him that we'll follow him wherever he finds a home, even if youtube decides to abuse him.

thanks. for some reason, the link didn't show up as a link in the post =/
I've been posting some lame content on Odysee as a test and its nice. When I earn a few more tokens I'll be able to livestream again which will be fun.
I've never really committed to content creation, though I'll make a video now an again, though I've made a little bit here and there on yt (back in the day) and bitchute.
I feel that's a good sign of a site if a (to the best of my knowledge) non-political YTer is going to a different site. I'll have to give Odysse another spin
he still has his youtube channel, but he put it up for stuff he couldn't put on youtube (Ie: this years'monster madness, one of the things he does outside of avgn every halloween).
That being said, he's an old school youtuber, so the content is definitely good, even if it's a bit...quirky...sometimes, lol.
Thankfully, it looks like he's putting AVGN up on odyesee, and that's my favorite thing he's done. =)
How do you know its the real account and not a fan mirroring the content?
Good question.
I know, because I found it through embedded videos on his personal website, cinemassacre.com , which I know is his, because he mentions it in quite a few of his videos.
