I don't think they have the diary, what I understand is that they talked to someone who did and that there are accusations of molestation in it against Biden.

In the story they said they had it. Tried to give it back to the lawyers who didn't want it back. Then gave it to "law enforcement".

We attempted to return the diary to an attorney representing Ms. Biden, but that attorney refused to authenticate it. Project Veritas gave the diary to law enforcement to ensure it could be returned to its rightful owner. We never published it.

Unclear who they mean when they say law enforcement. They definitely put a scare into someone powerful, though. I imagine the FBI was trying to find out if they scanned it and made copies. Tragic that they've been reduced to being the muscle for criminal elites.
