It's not even just that I know this is about genocide, but that it's so very, very unrealistic. This is not a very intelligent or honorable race, yet they keep casting them as brilliant scientists and and the hero who dies sacrificing themselves. It messes with the suspension of disbelief required in a lot of movies and TV shows.
