I don't think most of them read it at all, especially not the worst ones, the "rootless cosmopolitans" that seem to write a lot of the articles we marvel at and make fun of around here. But they don't need to, because you don't need to read some ideas to absorb them. For example, most normal Europeans (I mean, the ones who haven't been demoralized into empty soulless husks) believe that a normal intimate relationship involves one man and one woman, we share some general idea of what the appropriate age range of partners is... or that it's a good idea to treat people the way we'd like to be treated. We pretty much all celebrate Christmas. We share those ideas even if we don't really think about them and even if we've never read the Bible, because we grew up in places where these ideas were prevalent. The same applies to the world's greatest allies.
