It was not that woke but they did go increasingly woke. They had cool male characters and sexy girl characters at start.

They were compliant. They threw Zarya in there literally just so there would be a butch dyke character. Oh and they nixed that one pose of Tracer kind of perking her ass up a bit real early on.
