I could understand their argument if the game was like those incredibly difficult games on NES or other older consoles, like Battle Toads or TMNT

If I was to ever develop the game, I would offer a "journalist" mode that does not allow saving or loading. Forget Ironman mode, they'd be going full arcade.

Lol, send them copies that LOCK it to that mode and don't' allow them any other mode.

Make them special "review copies" that have all these promises of "special features" in it lol.
