no one can claim to be depressed unless they do the following:
eat well, cut out sugar, caffeine, alcohol. maintain a healthy weight
exercise several times a week
get at least 7 hours of sleep every day
have satisfying relationships including a romantic one
have a job that pays decently
99% of people who do the above will not be depressed. Anyone who claims they are depressed without doing the above just has a shitty life and depression is a symptom/reaction to that shitty life.
