Are ebay accounts automated to this degree that no human actually saw this post before it was created?
It's not a mask, it's just what eBay has made themselves in to. Their policies are extremely anti-seller to the point that for many things it's just not worth the trouble for an individual to just sell off some stuff they don't want. All the buyer has to do with their remorse is file some claim that it's broken because it's a Sega Genesis and the graphics look pixelated or some garbage and they will win every single time.
So, what you get is a bunch of businesses that do just that and automate the shit out of it and make zero effort at all. It's not hard or expensive to set up some 15 year old DSLRs with some posterboard and good light and you've got an eBay photo factory. So what, a few people send it back, cost of doing business.
