I was genuinely disappointed by the lack of outrage at this decision.
There are too many people who think YouTube, the rest of the tech giants, and the medical industry are all 100% perfect, and that every single action which they take is in the best interests of Saving the World:tm:.
I am not saying that they are all evil supervillains trying to take over the world — but at the same time, only a fool who has never witnessed human behaviour would blindly accept that they would never have their own interests at heart.
These companies owe you nothing; they are not accountable to you, and they have no incentive to pursue your well being as an individual.
Just because they happened to pick a side this time that by chance happened to be the same as yours, doesn't mean they are your ally or saviour.

I wasn't even aware that they hadn't done this already. Didn't they ban videos like the famous DarkHorse podcast episode before? They're just making their enforcement official policy and with harder penalties.
Yep, I recall them doing that, DarkHorse's interview with Dr. Malone, their Ivermectin video(s), and Triggernometry's interview with Dr. Bhakdi.
It just seemed that back then, it was an unwritten rule that they'd use without warning to take down your video, leaving you stuck in the bureaucratic hell of their Appeals process. For the greater public who didn't watch channels affected by it, they might not even know it was happening.
I guess that now they're officially announcing it, it feels worse. Even if they have been doing it for months.
