Anyone with a serious long term health issue has two options at the moment: Bankrupt yourself seeking private healthcare, or lie down and die.
You cannot depend on the socialist healthcare systems as you could pre-pandemic, because they are diverting almost all of their attention and assets to covid at the behest of politicians whose primary concern is placating the media.
Seek private treatment and you will be dealing with people who would love nothing more than for you to survive and tell your whole family, 'man, I had to sell my house and now I'm a destitute, but that doctor saved my life!'
You're dealing with people who don't have your best interests at heart either way, but at least one of them is gonna actually pick up the phone when you call.
They've had since 2019 to fix, they even had a global pandemic as an excuse to turn it up to 11. And they're blaming the <20% of Albertans who didn't get jabbed after closing 25% of ICU beds during WuFlu.
My mom died, in part, because an elective surgery was delayed until her condition became fatal. I blame a system that never ramped up, never became equipped; a system of rationed care. Blaming the sick for being sick is awful. Don't read malice or ignorance into their vax choice
19 months of a pandemic and the government is still in a state of rationed care. That's the problem here. Blame the broken healthcare system and inept politicians who wasted every opportunity to do something different. But don't blame the sick for not choosing your choice.
The politicians and perennial screw-up bureaucrats want us blaming the unvaxxed because there's no healthcare capacity. How sinister is this? They want us turning on each other so we don't look at those in charge for their failures that have caused sorrow for millions. Ghouls
This lends a lot of credence to the theory that the plandemic is primarily about managing an inevitable collapse. The Left fucked everyone with globalism and socialism, and now the bill is coming due. Our debt-based monetary policies were unsustainable. Our socialized healthcare systems were unsustainable. Our massive entitlements were unsustainable. Our deficit spending was unsustainable. It's all going to collapse. How do the elites pivot to "what's next" without losing most of their heads in the process?
How about a trumped-up pandemic? Look around. Governments are making radical changes to every aspect of our lives with this virus as their only excuse. They never would have obtained the political or cultural capital necessary to transform society this quickly, this radically, without the pandemic giving them cover. Most of this shit is literally illegal/unconstitutional, yet it goes almost unchallenged because the powers that be are wielding the ultimate password: safety.
Our system is now being overrun by people who refuse to believe that COVID is real--- They know it's real and that they are unlikely to get it, unlikely to die and that these vaccines are suspect for various reasons. There's just so many lies in that article, so much misplaced blame and just evil. And that guy using his child's illness to help push this *hit is just pathetic. I get he's upset about his kid's condition but no, it isn't the unvaccinated's fault. Don't use your kid like that, evil.
