I recommended Pan's Labyrinth there, it's listed as 5.25 wokeness. TBQH it's been way too long to remember many details (over a decade), but I don't think the nature of the plot lent much possibility to such.
Maybe I'll re-watch it one day and compare notes as a litmus test; I was young and stupid back then too, so I would have missed a lot of what's obvious now.

There was nothing woke in Pan's Labyrinth - I just recently rewatched it. Good story, amazing cinematography, no wokeness.
Except the director has been tweeting it's wokeness, including the Pale Man was evil because he was white which was done on purpose.
Ignore the stupid fuck then. One of the big things about any form of media is you have to disconnect the artists from the art.
Otherwise I couldn't read Stephen King books, Listen to Brand New (band) or watch anything with DeNiro (among tons of others I'm sure).
