While I have no doubt at all about the perfidy of the New York Times, which earlier that decade won a Pulitzer prize for denying the Holodomor, the front page does not suggest that they were in any way justifying German actions.

That said, if even the newspaper of Walter Duranty would not stoop to transcribing the lies told by governments, how much worse is it today for its non-stop deluge of lies and nonsense?
