Yeah, much of the West (arguably the US in particular, also maybe Canada) seems to be heading rapidly down the literal "Fall of Rome" path...

Or any other ancient, collapsed empire. Someone posted an Ancient Greek quote, a while back, about exactly this, re (moral) decadence and falling birthrates n sheeeit. It was extremely prescient for our current situation, I must say... :-S
