They are emotional addicts. They need to hit rock bottom and realize that they can't keep doing what they are doing.
I'm not saying "punch a Leftist", I'm saying that you have to make them directly feel the impact of their decisions, then you have to offer individualism and responsibility as an alternative. The difficulty is that taking responsibility is scary, but the collective punishment of the group is also scary; so you have to figure out how to teach them to take responsibility while it's clear that trusting the group with responsibility is a bad idea.
So, for example, say you are dealing with an environmentalist. They are probably clamoring about some sort of virtue signaling bullshit about how their Prius will save the world. You can present all sorts of personal initiatives to them, and focus on ones that involve personal responsibility. Like gardening, soil management, and water management for their home. They are used to just making consumer choices that are validated by the group, but your points about taking personal initiative sound like good ideas (but they are normally just to lazy). You could probably even start out as small as having them grow their own herbs and going to farmers markets (which are normally filled to the limit with Trump supporters, make some excuses about "raw foods" and "locally grown, sustainable, organic, agriculture"). Another idea is to grow trees! Hippies love trees and shit! If they like flowers, suggest a "Bee Pollinator Corridor".
Eventually, the group is going to do something fucking retarded and demand she be executed for not attending a protest or something. Maybe she brought the wrong brand of LeCrox. It doesn't matter, the lynchers will come out.
Use that opportunity to show that she's actually doing the work of land/soil/water/wild-life management, and all these other people are just posers who are virtue-signaling. Meanwhile she has the rain-garden to prove that she manages her own water run-off.
That's just it: Leftists can't build anything. You will have taught her to build something that is still emotionally aligned with her ideology. However, you have subverted the Leftism by teaching her how to build and maintain a thing, and how to have a long time preference. That virtue signaling to the group isn't as important as actually doing stuff, and that her personal success is more important, tangible, and permanent than the group's love-bombing.
Right wing subversion doesn't have to start off with yelling "The John Birch Society Did Nothing Wrong", just as Leftism doesn't start with "Luxury Space Communism Now!" They start the subversion by talking about "rights" and "equality". Start your right-wing subversion with "responsibility" and "individual initiative".
The point is to then do this repeatedly, so that you build their individualism and self-confidence; so that they learn to distrust their previously cherished sources of information and affirmation.
There are those that are truly predators that we can't reach, but they are fewer in number than we think. Maybe, like, 10-20%
I'm leaning towards the idea that anyone already in is already a write off so we should concentrate everything on bringing up the next generation with an actual community which should prevent them from falling for the decoy.
Getting people as they age is actually the easier success story. However, we absolutely have to take the initiative to young people.
It's why we can't stop gaming. We can't reach fucking anyone who is young through traditional means. Gaming clans and competitions have to be a priority. If we can provide them with anti-Left recreational social outlets, that will be more than enough to blunt the effect of Leftism on the Zoomers because they will be moving rightward as they age.
Personally, I think Halo Infinite and Pokemon are excellent opportunities. There seems to be a lot of hype around these games, and given our age, we can still interact with the franchise well enough. We can be the rightist alternative to soyboy game journos crying over their switches.
