I'm not sure not voting is benefiting anything. What do I gain, a few minutes of my time in a year? Particularly since there are still a lot of local elections that aren't screwed with yet. Even if it's rigged, what can participation hurt?
I don't think an effective solution exists yet. At the moment I think it's just waiting, trying to keep our heads on straight, and not get demoralized. Historically solutions don't present themselves overnight. The Declaration of Independence spoke of "patient sufferance" and the revolution built up over years, not months.
Not my take (yet) but voting is like masturbating. You get to feel good about yourself and your lizard brain is convinced that you participated in something meaningful. The problem is, you waste your natural drive to participate in something that actually produces anything. You've quieted the signals that normally drive men to improve themselves and their surroundings.
