Not a fan of fan service. But it shouldn't be forced out, or taken out due to wokeism. I think Hosada is a victim of his own success. Gets a decent amount of play at film festivals, so around more Westerners maybe and pressured into caving. There definitely is a current of sexualizing kids in Japan and very few stand up against it. So i would understand someone trying to and Leftists seizing it to say "see, they agree". Or some person trying to use wokeism to push for the end of sexualizing kids in anime and not realizing they're playing with fire when they wield the PC mob.
