I was wondering if there is any mirror available of the official Crossed webcomics Wish you were here, Badlands and any other free content as the original site is down and was previously neglected by Avatar Press staff beforehand.
I am requesting a Mirror as I refuse to go browse some random pirate site that profiteers of malvertising.
If necessary, scans of physical copies are acceptable.
WHAT I AM ASKING FOR ISN'T PIRACY AS THE MATERIALS WERE PUBLISHED FOR FREE
I know a couple of sites where it’s posted up, like readcomicsonline.com, but they don’t sound like what you’re looking for. There’s a torrent of every Crossed comic ever published that has Wish you were Here in it’s entirety if you’re interested, you could just delete all the non-free stuff if you want.
Anyway I don’t know how much Crossed you’ve read but I would seriously recommend you only stick with the stuff Ennis wrote and Wish You Were Here, the rest of it is seriously hit or miss, mostly miss.
I read the original on a pirate site, and I was unable to finish Wish You Were Here because the server they were using was failing at the time.
I do not know how the second series was received but the third was reportedly good I think.
Badlands was mostly miss, especially with the SJW writers ruining everything.
Psychopath , the second series, is god awful, stay away from that one.
Family Ties and Crossed +100 are pretty good, as are the annual specials.
I don’t know how far you got into Wish you were here but it’s pretty good overall, even though Sy Spurrier is a cunt.
I only got as far as a cow being sent to the encampment on a rib with a grenade stuck up its butt.
Oh, and speaking of bad comics, I heard the unfunnies was horrible and in my opinion lost potential. That comic had allot wrong with it and the covers were just one of the issues as they were often completely unrelated to the content and barely fit with the art style, especially the "offensive" variants that tended to rip off crossed.
Unlike that comic, the covers in crossed tended to be relevant as they showed things that likely happened lore wise, even if it had nothing to do with the story.
Yeah, I read unfunnies and felt the same way, it was like the worst of Mark Millar magnified x1000.
