Maybe if we lived in a magic universe where there actually WAS some sort of God or Super AI or whatever of Law, and all it did was uphold the law (regardless of other considerations, like fairness, morals, special interests, etc.), we could have fair and equal enforcement under the law.

Remember when they tried to program an AI to detect racism in social media posts, then had to try and RE-program it because the majority of racist posts it detected came from black people?
