Look at Luke from the originals. He was a brash, arrogant person who was constantly looking at the future and dreaming instead of focusing on himself. He was tempted to hate Sidious and his own father, but realized that’s how his father was corrupted, through his emotions.
He overcame evil by refusing to give in to anger and forgiving his father for what he had become. In turn, his father could not bear to see his son murdered and redeemed himself.
It’s a story about forgiveness, sacrifice, and overcoming your feelings. So just as women are currently corrupting Christianity in the churches, they absolutely cannot allow Star Wars to remain unmolested.
