While I don't expect this to actually get enforced, I wouldn't be at all shocked if Texas AG opens up some suits and makes them answer to it when they do. He's a bit of an asshole that isn't the type to shy away from it. It it stays at state level it might be an interesting case to follow nonetheless. I don't know all the rules about how it ends up in what court, but if it gets to the state supreme court, they aren't typically the traitor type.
If it goes federal, then well expect the expected--struck down with Clarence Thomas the only dissent.
