Jesus, what are you, "controlled demoralisation" at this point, or something?? I don't care if you don't want to fight back, and are happy to let this all "wash over you", but some of the rest of us are trying to fight back here, and your "demoralisation"/shitting on anything anyone suggests is not helping.
Seriously, what's your solution?? I don't see you offering anything in this thread exact "muh doom, best just live with it"...
Sorry, but come on. I'm depressed as fuck, and even I'm far, far more determined to fight this than you apparently are, at least going off of this thread...
So not really offering any sort of solution, then? Just "go with the law", and "read up on laws" that the government will happily ignore, whenever convenient, anyway.
Got it. As I said, if you're just going to go with what "teh law" says, and hope that will save you, well, I have news for you...
It's not just this comment, anyway. Everything you have said seems to be aimed towards demoralisation, which is just... Some of aren't gonna give in that easily, bruh. But you do you.
I suppose I didn't think about this before, but it's literally in your name, isn't it..?
I think we've discussed this before, elsewhere and on other topics...
I guess I'm just more angry than blackpilled on this particular issue. Perhaps you are more... Literally nihilistic, than I, here. I'm not afraid to go down with this ship.
But, you do you, I guess. Demoralisation... Is one way of looking at this. Just not the path I choose to go down. If you feel it's enlightening others, or pointing out their flawed legal logic, that's fine, too. I just don't agree with your methods, here, personally.
But, you helped challenge my own "pits of despair", before, so I have to at least give you respect for that, and admit that I know less about this particular legal instrument, which is not really relevant to my own personal circumstance anyway, than you appear to.
why even have HIPAA laws when the government can just violate it so casually without penalty?

HIPAA only applies to the medical profession. It comes into the issue of medical privacy laws both at federal and state levels.
