It's all kayfabe.

The heels and the babyfaces shout and fake fight each other, but at the end of the day, they all get their paychecks from the same place.

Funny you mention paychecks...all members of parliament have gotten TWO raises this pandemic, the "conservatives" haven't even tried to stop it.
