There is nothing wrong with police as a concept. Or with policing. Law enforcement is a necessary component of a civilized society.

The problem is with the presence, and I would argue even the existence, of leftists. They corrupt everything they touch, and if they get any power of any kind it is immediately weaponized to serve Marxism. Law enforcement is no exception.
