They are conflating female hypergamy with lesbianism. If you:

only desire high status males, such as celebrities and fictional depictions
only enjoy hanging out with beta orbiters so long as they don't hit on you
get bored engaging in intimacy with the same low status man over and over again

You aren't a lesbian. You're a woman living in a society that no longer restrains your worst hypergamic impulses, and you've reflexively reframed everything because your solipsism won't permit you to view yourself as anything but perfect.
