It was really dumb. They could have come over here AND promoted their own website. They could have done nothing but shill their subscription app, and the .win admins probably wouldn't have stopped them.

It's just simple greed. People see big subscriber numbers and want to turn it into perseonal riches. Classic tale... greed costs them whatever they had before. Now they have nothing.
