There's zero wrong with feeling uncomfortable with someone like that. Furthermore, it's not a teachers place to bring their political views to a public school; lest he forget, those schools and his salary are paid for by taxpayers — all taxpayers.
The excuse of "oMg, I'M rEceiViNg ThreAts!" has to stop being promulgated and accepted. These people need to be held accountable for what they're doing.
The entire concept that receiving such things is exclusive to them is absurd.
