Hello, everyone. I am planning on voting in the California recall election. I plan to vote in person with a paper ballot, not electronically. I also plan to vote early instead of on September 14. Is there anything that I should keep in mind before I go through with my vote? Is there anything about voting early that is a problem or is what I’m doing okay?
EDIT: Is there anything that I should bring with me? Pens or pencils?
All the above. Use any and all tools necessary.
I'm not sure how I would confirm that the ballot is counted while I'm at the polling place.
I know that there is a place to drop in paper ballots when you fill them out at the polling place. There's also a machine that counts the electronic ballots when you've completed one and printed it out.
Beyond submitting the paper ballot in the drop box, I don't know how I could determine that the ballot was accurately counted. What do you suggest? Am I missing something?
