well, for one, it's not just the vaccines. It's the pointless lockdowns that lead to vitamin D deficiency, which leads to a further compromised immune system, while refusing to acknowledge that any other treatment or therapy might actually work better, not to mention the mask mandates which become a bigger joke by the second and the damage being done to the economy in the name of this insanity...

For another, the risk of dying from the virus is pretty low too. a basic calculation of the deaths/total cases has come out to less than two percent every time i've done the math.

And rare or not, when you've got someone who has literally died from the side effects of the vaccine, and they're family is like "well, it was still worth it for them to get the shot?" I'm sorry, but self-destruction seems like a tame description to me...
