Also the St Mary's virus, in V for Vendetta. It's just that it's apparently far, far easier than we EVER imagined to scare an already compliant, already demoralised population of good little sheep-humans into tolerating literally whatever you can imagine, in your wildest totalitarian nightmares...

Seriously, I'm not kidding when I say that people here are now 5x more afraid of "Delta" than they ever were at any point last year. Something is very wrong here, and, as a result... They are pushing this as far they possibly can, to see just how compliant our population is, and just what they can get away with...
