So if I'm interpreting this right, the entire post is about protecting people on the other side of the world from getting upset?

I suppose I should look into what's going on there, all I've seen is the Twitter trolling or whatever and I'm not basing my opinion on the situation itself on what was on Twitter.

The way it is talked about seems to imply these fragile creatures are going to get second hand PTSD and would try to not share the info.

Makes you wonder if it is trauma they are avoiding? or simply avoiding bad news while Biden is keeping his seat warm.
